Primary Schools

We tutor academic pupils in year 5 to raise their attainment further in preparation for the highly competitive grammar school entrance exams. Providing children with access to this tuition ensures that they are set up for success when taking the 11 plus examination at the start of year 6 and assisting them in transitioning from primary school to a secondary grammar school. Each child receives weekly, hour long tuition for a minimum of 30 weeks in Maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning. This tuition is delivered either online, on school premises or after school at our partner company Tintagel Tutoring making the lessons convenient and accessible to all families. Lessons are taught in small groups by experienced tutors who are trained to deliver our bespoke 11 plus curriculum which will compliment their baseline knowledge from school and help to accelerate their progress preparing children for the high level demand of the 11 plus grammar school entrance examination. Each child will also receive access to at least one 11 plus mock examination at Tintagel Tutoring which will provide detailed and specific feedback on their progress and highlight areas for future development. This tuition and mock examination is completely free for eligible children.
